(That is what the Jews did and Christians believe.) The death of Isa does not make much sense to us with out this concept of substitution. Recently the sacrifice of a goat was introduced to the pilgrimage to substitute for up to 2 people that could not make the pilgrimage with you. With this limited knowledge of sacrifice and substitution we have to help them see the great gift and mercy Allah has actually given us! |
